About Dr. Nidhi Gupta

Dr. Nidhi Gupta graduated M.B.B.S. from Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, in 2014. After her internship and junior residencies in Psychiatry and Obstetrics & Gynaecology, she completed an M.D. in General Medicine (2017–2020), earning the Silver Medal for top academic performance. She also picked up two postgraduate diplomas from the Royal College of Physicians, London -- one in Hypertension and Management (January 2020) and another in Advanced Cardiology and ECG (February 2021).

She then moved to SGPGIMS Lucknow for her DM in Nephrology (2020–2023). SGPGIMS is one of India's leading centres for nephrology and renal transplantation, and Dr. Gupta made the most of it -- she won the Best Senior Resident (DM) Student Award at the institute's 39th Foundation Day and the Best Research Paper Award at the 3rd Research Day.

Since 2024, she has been working as Assistant Consultant and Head of the Department of Nephrology in Gurugram. She sees patients across the full range of kidney conditions and supervises trainee education. Her research has appeared in KI Reports and the Asian Journal of Pediatric Nephrology, and she has presented at the World Congress of Nephrology and the ISN Frontier Meeting.
